5:30 PM to 6:30 PM Dance Lesson
6:30 to 7 PM Dance Practice with Recorded Music / Time to Eat
7 to ~9:45 PM Concert and Dance with The Jambalaya Cajun Band
The “Men with the Red Suspenders” are back! High-energy Cajun dance band bringing authentic Bayou flavor with
driving accordion, fiery fiddle, and rollicking rhythms. Expect French two-steps, waltzes, zydeco grooves, and nonstop good-time energy.
Fiddler Terry Huval started the Jambalaya Cajun Band in 1977.
Both Terry Huval and Reggie Matte, the band’s accordionist who comes from Pointe Noire, are excellent vocalists.
Huval and Matte have both been named to the Cajun French Music Association Hall of Fame. Ken David on bass and fiddle
is joining them.
